Greek Tangerine Olive Oil

Olives and whole tangerines, pressed together in one milling.

The tangerines are milled with the olives, whole, in the same pressing. The oil takes its sweetness and aroma from the peel and flesh together, not from a flavoring added after.

Best for: Winter salads, roasted carrots and roots, ricotta, or a drizzle over citrus and dark-chocolate desserts.

  • Co-pressed, not infused
  • Whole tangerines, not essence
  • Single family estate, Epidaurus
  • Pressed once a year, in December

One estate, one season
Manaki olives from a single family estate in Epidaurus, pressed with whole tangerines once a year in December, when olives and citrus ripen side by side in the Argolis valley.
How to use it
Rounder and sweeter than the lemon. Good over roasted roots and carrots, on ricotta or yogurt, and as a finish on citrus or chocolate desserts.

Why whole-fruit pressed

Whole fruit, at the mill

Whole tangerines milled with the olives in a single pressing, not an essence added later.

Single family estate

Manaki from one estate in Epidaurus, Argolis, cold-pressed within hours of harvest.

Once a year, in December

Made only when olives and citrus ripen together, a seasonal, limited pressing.

Questions we hear often

Is this a flavored oil?
No. Whole tangerines are milled together with the olives in a single pressing, so the citrus comes from the fruit itself, not from added flavoring or essence.
How is it different from the lemon oil?
The tangerine is rounder and sweeter, where the lemon is brighter and sharper. Both are co-pressed the same way, in the same December milling.
How should I use it?
As a finishing oil, raw. It suits roasted roots, creamy cheeses, and citrus or chocolate desserts more than high-heat cooking.
