Carvacrol is the main compound in oregano oil and the one that gives it its strength. 82% is a measure of how concentrated the oil is, and ours is tested to that level. A higher carvacrol reading means a more concentrated oil, which is why a drop or two is enough and why you dilute it before use.

Always dilute. Add a drop or two to a spoon of olive oil or honey, or to a glass of water. Start small, because the carvacrol is potent. It is not for undiluted internal use. Keep it away from children, and if you are pregnant or taking medication, speak with a health professional first.

Store it cool, dark, and upright. Concentrated oregano oil can degrade rubber over time, so keeping the dropper upright helps. Close it tightly after use and keep it away from children.
